Aight guys. Due to last night, I kinda want to do some rehashing so we can all sort of "remember" where Newscast has been in the past, in message boards that have gone down. So I'm starting this thread so we can post anything we remember Newscast doing way back then, and sort of have the ground set.
The first message board was Muspa, which probably went down one or two times while Newscast lived there. Then there was the first Taymation forum, where Newscast really started coming to life, and this one came next.
As I said last night, all I really remember was the report Rev was doing on Evil Pie, and then Moero ate the evil pie. The remanants of the evil pie formed the many miniature Moeros moping menacingly in the metropolis, who then formed into a huge Moero which rampaged about, destroying the city. I think it was Tay who realized the only way to stop her was to take her to the opening show of LOTR:ROTK, where the real Moero snuck in and disintegrated her with her virus laser vision while everyone else was too mesmerized by the prettiness of the movie to notice.
...That was in Nov-December 2003. The only reason I remember the date was because of ROTK.

K, I'll recap as best as I can remember.
There was the whole pie thing, then kinda during/through/after that was the L337 duel between Ayame and Sparky. That didn't go very far. Most of the Muspa stuff was just random news reporting. We didn't have many story lines, and the ones we did have were kinda small. Of coarse, there was the first time the Newscast Reactor went down. That was shortly after the first move. Not only did the whole studio lock down into Defcon 5, but there was a giant mob outside (When ISN'T there a giant mob outside.) Anyways, we freaked out for a while, Moero and Rev somehow got out, and then Tay fixed it. Shortly after that, Mr. Black was introduced, but he was a very background character at that point.
Then there was the alien saga which contained about three or four adventures all it's own. To start it off, it was so cold that hell froze over. Demons began escaping out and destroying everything. Tay had to be there because they were destroying roads, Rev, Ayame and I were there because that was a BIG story, and Moero and Sparky were just tag-alongs. We got there just as a giant monster was rampaging the city. Moero and Ayame were having fun with the demons, whilst Rev and Tay were just hangin' like they do. The monster, however, smashed the helicopter and grabbed me. I was pretty darn close to being eaten when Moero and Ayame reluctantly joined forces to defeat it. Then, to make sure this didn't happen again, we set an extremely large explosion in Hell to blow it up, as well as get it hot again. When a bunch of us ran in, about all of us got mesmirized by a magic-image poster and Ayame did all the work, as well as pulled us away from it to make a narrow escape.
This, of coarse is connected to the Alien saga because with hell back up and roaring, the world began to warm up and the cload cover receded to reveal hordes of alien ships right above us. At that point, we seperated, to fight the aliens in various places. Tay went to, if I remember, Moscow, Rev and Moero fought in Provo, Ayame fought in Tokyo, Sparky flew out to see the Super Bowl, and I decided to sit this one out. Sparkies plane crashed, and he had his close relative do his work for him for a while, but he eventually came back. Rev and Moero won the battle of Provo, but everywhere else was looking desperate. London, New York, and the entire country of France had already lost, and Moscow and Tokyo were losing. Meanwhile, the alien mothership was using it's tractor beam to swipe several important buildings. Buildings like the Eifle Tower, The Empire State Building, and of coarse the Newscast Studio. I messed around with the control panel (To various THMBG songs) until I was able to disable the tractor beam and get the studio back thanks to Habba the Jut, who also gave me the Redfish 2, which I used to go to Tokyo to help Ayame. Ayame made a small report which she revealed the way to defeat the aliens. Essentially, it was the Tenchi In Love plot. So Sparky got to the studio just in time to tag along with me in the Redfish 2, Moero used her own ship, and Rev was captured, and Tay also came. Moero and I, with help from the Godzilla characters, were able to place all the beacons and Moero went to Tokyo Tower to obtain amazing powers. During this, Tay was in the alien mothership, which was now in Tokyo rescuing Ayame and Rev with his time-shifting watch. Moero picked me up in a flash of light, got me on board at which time Sparky somehow got swapped for a mechanical version of sparky nammed Fred. Of coarse, nobody could tell the difference, so we all just got in the escape pods and got away, at which point Moero made herself huge and threw the spaceship back with a giant lacross stick.
*More history later. I have to go to work now.*

Thanks Tay. I can't remember everything, so I need your guys' help on this one. Picking up where I left off...
After that, everyone went to the studio to relax for a while. Mr. Black got himself into some hot water by snooping where he shouldn't have, but somehow managed to get a hold of Tay's time-shifting watch. Rev ended up killing the Mr. Black from the future, but it seems that no matter how many times he died, there was always another Mr. Black. Shortly after, Fred revealed himself as an unstoppable robot. Of coarse, the only person who knew how to stop him was Sparky who had been hurled into deep space by Lacross Moero. So, in a rescue attempt, Ayame and Myself blasted off into space to look for him. During this period, there was a massive lack of activity, and very few people posted and nobody really knew what was happening. In the end, I think Tay tried to stop Sparky, but to no avail and everyone else just chilled at the studio. Ayame and I got seperated and lost from eachother on several occasions looking for Sparky until finally we picked up his signal. TB flew in to find the crashed alien mothership with a small civilization rebuilt around it. Spotting Sparky atop a throne where tons of aliens were worshiping him, TB swooped down, picked up Sparky (accidentally knocking him out in the process) and blew up the aliens just for fun. Terd and Ayame got him back after a while, where he regained conciousness and defeated the alien in the fashion most befitting him: gave him some booze until he drank his circuits to nothingness.
At some point in time, and I'm not sure if it's now but it happened, but Sparky was having serious drinking problems, so we decided to intervene. He quit drinking for, if I remember, two hours before needing booze. The crew tried to stop him, and a lot of tranquelizers were involved before we finally got him and strapped him down to a table. We decided the best solution would be neutering him, but before we could get to it, he got out, almost stabbed Rev and went to the bar next door. We decided it wasn't worth the trouble to get him to quit, so we let him.
*More history to come as I remember it.*

The Time we tried to neuter Sparky was, I believe, shortly after the Whole Hell saga. Right Before the Aliens showed up.

I kind of meant for us to go over and try to remember the stuff that no longer exists online, ie, not the stuff available to be read on this forum. It's ok though, becasue reading that ^ is a lot easier than reading 22 pages. Although reading the 22 pages is a lot more hilarious. *grabs gun from Tay* A TACO GUN! HOOORAY! *sticks barrel in mouth and starts to pull trigger repeatedly* eh. nthin iths huppnin. whr ar eh hacos??? That ^ has got to be my most favorite post ever. ^_^

I remember from the previous boards, there was:
The fight with the MB troll, PENF who destroyed Ayame's original body and had Tay rebuild it.
That's the only other one I can remember. More later.

Time for more history as I remember it!
I don't exactly remember what the occasion was. Maybe it was E3, maybe it was Ayame's coming back from E3, but we decided to announce a video game entertainment week, devoted entirely to video games and the playing thereof. Tay brought an abnormally large television, and the whole crew exept for Moero proceeded to play many video games. Moero, however, thought something was up and came to the conclusion that we had been turned into zombies. Going berserk-style with her glowing red eyes and all, she began to rampage throughout the studio trying to kill us all. The studio locked down, and we all tried to find a way to either hide or get out. In fact, most of the studio members DID get out including myself, but I went back in to save Ayame. I found her, but she was leaving at that time, and she left me with a Toaster-version of herself with ears and hair. Eventually, Moero calmed down, her eyes stopped glowing, and we were able to get back to our merry little lives.
Now, I'm sure this was earlier, but I also remember one particular incident where everyone thought TB was a horny little guy. He kept accidentally running into naught situations, and generally having a very anime-ish experience. Just then, Ayame ran up and handed TB a DVD of Moero showering, telling him to keep it safe. TB then hurried upstairs to watch "the discovery channel." Moero then ran up to TB's room, completly destroyed his entertainment system, and then went downstairs. Turns out TB WAS watching the Discovery Channel (It was Dictator Week ^.^), and he still had the DVD.
During these later adventures, Lonewolfe showed up. For the most part, he was just chilling in the break room sharpening his sword and we occasionally talked to him. Eventualy we decided that we needed a sports man, so we asked him to and he reluctantly accepted. Of coarse, knowing nothing about Earth sports, they were all pretty broad being that he didn't know what was happening. But we still love him for it.
Then we get into things that are still pretty fresh in your memories. Moero went berserk again, this time destroying all broadcasting studios in the world. For a while, we were pretty excited because we were the only television show left. But Satan decided to give us a little visit. Being that television is the ultimate evil, and we were the only thing left on television, we were the embodyment of the ultimate evil and we had a few guest-appearences by the Devil himself, including a cooking show that TB and the Devil did together. However, all this negative attention lead to the world getting up in arms against us again, and coming to destoy the studio. Worst of all, Moero dissabled the security system just before leaving. She kidnapped Tay, bound and gagged, and blasted off in the Redfish 2 and TB and Lone were able to grab on just in time to hitch a ride without Moero knowing. Rev, knowing the inner thinking of Moero, was able to find how she disabled the security system (Gun jammed in the gears) and the security system then proceeded to destroy the entire mob. Rev then grabbed one of Tay's experimental ships and took off after the Redfish 2. Eventually, Rev caught up to the Redfish 2 and used the ships cloaking device to cloak the ship and get close. But the Redfish 2 was able to spot it and opened fire on Rev. The ship crashed, but he was able to fix it and get back into the skies shortly. About then, the Redfish 2 landed, and TB, Lone and Tay were very confused. Hearing Moero coming around to the back hatch, Lone and TB hid just in time. Moero opened it up, and then blew a good-sized hole in Tay's chest and walked back to the cockpit. With a little Quick thinking, Terd grabbed Tay's time-shifting watch (From the alien saga) and used it to go to medical school and learn all about how to treat a bullet-wound victem. He then returned, patched Tay up, and when time finally started up again, Tay was wounded, but no longer in critical condition. This gave Rev enough time to catch up to the Redfish 2 as it blasted off again. This time, he just kept his distance, watching her from afar. Eventually, we got to some Japanese hillside where she landed, blew a good hole in the Redfish 2 and made her way to a shack, one that she elegedly grew up in. In the meantime, the three of us got out of the cargo bay and got a look around. Lonewolfe found a nice little japanese village and decided to give it a look. But looking like an evil wolf-demon, everyone ran away, so he just dawned some samurai armor and took a stroll. TB got his old 50's group back together, and they fixed his ship in a few showtunes. Rev eventually arrived as his ship ran out of fuel, and he and Tay decided to sit back and enjoy the show. Meanwhile, Ayame came out of her room back at the studio and was very curious as to where we were, so she used her tracking device to follow the Redfish 2. After fixing the ship, TB couldn't help but follow Moero to get the inside scoop. She busted into the shack and confronted her father in the basement. TB stayed in the upper floor, filming it all through a knot-hole in the floor, shortly joined by Lone. Just then, Ayame arrived in her very standard, and very loud fashion. Their collective weight caused the floor to collapse, leaving the three of them exposed to a very angry, very red-eyed, and very PMS-like Moero. Furious, Moero was just about to blow a few of them away when her father knocked her out with some wierd device. The studio took very defensively to her, but with his help, they were able to remove some sort of virus from her head. Then everyone proceeded to go back home, and it was just another day at the studio.
Of coarse, all throughout there are many little adventures and things that I forget about. Things like the DVD and Mr. Black. One particular one was the Geneva Convention. THAT is how Mr. Black was introduced. It was shortly after the first reactor almost blew, but the Government was after us. TB kept getting these calls about some jenova party or something of the like, and kept turning them down. They had enough guns and ammuntion as it was. Eventually, News got out of a group of terrorists here in the United states. TB was first on the story and showed exclusive footage of the terrorists open broadcasts (Which was just a re-play of what he was just saying). The government then sent loads of troops and tanks and all that stuff right at the studio in order to disarm them. TB politly turned them down so they attempted to assault the studio. Of coarse, with Tay on the job, they weren't able to make a scratch and they were all dissintigrated before anyone even noticed. And then, TB introduced Mr. Black, the janitor who always wore a black suit and sunglasses. After that, the government stopped bothering then, but Mr. Black was very intrusive, which kept getting him killed. But being that he has one of the time-shifting watches, it's always the Mr. Black from the future, and never the real Mr. Black.
More history as I remember it!

Little edit to Terd's previous post: During the "Moero thinks everyone is a zombie video game week" arc, I seem to recall I was not involved with the video game playing. In fact, I was not even in the studio until Moero started hunting everyone and I came in asking if anyone had seen Moero because I was just finishing up some...er...tests and she had escaped. Of course...I could be wrong...

I must say that it's fun to read up on what you did before I found the RP =)
I too have some edits... none big though.
1. I didn't get into the redfish untill Tay had been shot and Terd had used the time-shifting watch to save him. Before that I sat in my usuall corner in the studio and talked with the hologram of Tay that Moero had left. I got angry on the hologram for not answering and tried to teleport my self over to it with my IIT-watch but instead ended up in the Redfish II cargo hold.
2. The people in the village ran away because I looked like a Foxdemon. They called me Makitsune. Despite my name I'm still an anthro fox not a wolf... The name is just my nick and is supposed to have been given to me in my own dimension. Mainly because I'm Ekibyougami and tend to keep to myself.

That's why I need your guys' imput. I don't remember every detail of what happens, except for what I did but that's just because I was the one who did em. You guys are the ones who did your things and thusly will likely remember them a lot better than me.
More History! (This one will get us up-to-date)
After removing the virus from Meoro's head, we all went back to the studio. Ayame had been pretty innactive at the time and we started to wonder where she had gone. We organized a mini-search party to find her, but she came back on her own (thusly winning her own reward for finding herself). During the search, Moero had started an 'Ayame's gone' party. When she came back, we started up an 'Ayame's back, not gone' party.' Celebrities from around the globe came and we had a massive celebration that eventually just became our Halloween party. However, Ayame was feeling really low, and went up to her room. In one final tear-felt farewell, she ripped out her own reactor, causing her to permanently shut down, destroying everything in the robot that made her who she was. Rev first noticed as that bright, happy glow in the studio suddenly dissapeared. TB got a little paraniod when he began to feel what had happened, and ran up to Ayame's room in search of her. Discovering Ayame, TB broke down at her bedside. Eventually, the rest of the crew found their way to the terrible scene. TB read her final farewell note, and then carried her to the mortician to get her ready for the funeral. The next day, a huge funeral was held in a magnificent chapel for her, and people from all throughout their adventures were there to mourn. After a few heartfelt speaches, and a Tribute Video by yours truely, TB came up to give a final statement. Right in the middle of it, TB came to a final realization, something snapped inside, and he busted out of the studio. Launching off in the Redfish 2, followed by Rev, Moero and Lone, they went to the gates of Hell. Meanwhile, Tay got in a big mecha and decided to conquer the world on Ayame's behalf. Upon reaching Hell, TB struck a deal with the devil. TB goes in, and if he finds Ayame's soul (considering it exists at all, being that she WAS a robot) and brings her back, he can leave. Otherwise, he stays. Agreeing, TB goes into the depths of hell in search of Ayame. Outside, Moero and satan have a bit of a confrontation, Rev uses his platinum sinner's pass to get into the Very Delicious Apple (The hippest cafe for all the best sinners and demons), and Lone just waltzes in via killing a few things. When Rev gets to the Very Delicious Apple, Tay is already there. On his quest of world conquest, he got shot by a sniper. Anyways, seeking out from the depths of his heart, TB eventually finds the soul of Ayame. At first she doesn't remember him at all, but after a few minutes of desperate speaking from Terd, she finally began to remember. Although Ayame didn't want to go back and Terd was heartbroken. Suddenly tormented by something, Ayame fell to the ground, calling to TB for help. He came over, and removed this wierd green sluggy thing from Ayame. Ayame began to fade away, and TB, realizing this may be his last chance to say what he came all that way to tell her, confessed that he loved her. Just as she appeared to have died again, TB leaned down to give her a gentle kiss. Suddenly, in bursts of light and all that dramatic stuff, she rose up in a very diefied mannor. Angelic and beautifull, she began to rise up. TB cried out for her, but it was her time to go, and she ascended to the cieling in one of the most heart-wrenching moments I've EVER experienced!!! But upon reaching the cieling, she was stopped by a very solid roof, and fell back to the ground. In one of the happiest moments I've ever experienced, Ayame and Terd made their way out of hell. Back at the Very Delicious Apple, Lone, Tay and Rev were hanging out when a group of demons showed up looking for Lone, and he had to leave. Just then, TB and Ayame came into the cafe and met Rev and Tay there. They found out about Tay's plight, and formulated a plan to get out. Let Moero continue to distract Satan and make a break for it. In a very action-packed exit, they were able to escape and fly back to the Studio.
More History as it happens!

Actually, the virus was never removed from Moero. She was just made aware of it. She can't really control it still, but she got all the answers she was looking for, so at least she's not quite as angsty as she used to be, so the virus doesn't activate as often.
