Earlier this week, I was approached by a film maker in town for the Sundance Film Festival. He asked me if I did any screen writing and I told him about Newscast and gave him the url to this board. He gave me the URL to his website. I now present it to the rest of the crew to see what you think about this possability. His site is: www.adamshouseproductions.com/What do you think? Give these people a shot with Newscast?

What, you mean they actually want to make a movie about it, or you want THEM to make a movie about it?

As a roleplayer, I say no because I don't think they'd have the same grip on the characters that we do.
As a filmmaker/screenwriter, I still say no, because I have the mad skills to do it myself.
As a realist, I say yes because I know that while I may have the skills to write a Newscast screenplay, I might not actually have the time, and I certainly don't want to be in charge of making the film.
As a film watcher, I say why not, because his stuff looks pretty good.
However, the website wasn't tremendously informative. Have they ever done features before? Do we know anything about them aside from the fact they can mimic Star Wars SFX like hundreds of other fanboys?
And why are you posting this here? It took me like, forever to find it.

I agree with Moero. Since the offer is up, and if they like it, maybe think about it. But their site isn't very informative.

What, you mean they actually want to make a movie about it, or you want THEM to make a movie about it? I will tell you the exact story: I was at work when this fellow stopped by. After I helped him out, he asked me if I was a writer. I said that I wasn't much of a writer aside from the stuff I did in High School and Newscast. He explained about how he had come for the Sundance Film Festival and was looking for screen writers and showed interest in Newscast. I told him a few things about it, we exchanged information, and here we are. I was going to send him an e-mail soon containing a more in-depth synapsis of Newscast if you guys approved of the idea. He also has the url to this board so he can check out what we do for himself.
